Kuangda Technology Group Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002516.SZ, abbreviated as KDTECH) was founded in 1993. It is a state-holding group enterprise mainly engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of vehicle interior materials and seating comfort systems, while also diversifying into businesses such as RF filters. The company was listed on the SME Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 (now part of the Main Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange). As of 2025, it has 29 wholly-owned, holding, and joint venture subsidiaries, with over 2,000 employees. In December 2025, Zhuzhou Qichuang officially became a strategic shareholder of KDTECH, indicated that the company has stepped into a new stage with state-owend capital background and coordinated development model.

Development path

In 1990, we developed the woven polyester air texturing flame-retardant composite automobile interior fabric to replace artificial leather, successfully replacing imported products.

In 1993, KDTECH was established.

In 1995, an investment of 60 million yuan was made to implement the "Technical Transformation Project for Introducing Key Equipment to Produce High-Grade Automotive Interior Fabrics", and the project was completed and put into operation.

In 1999, the first wholly-owned subsidiary, Changchun KDTECH Automotive Fabric Co., Ltd., was established.

In 2001, Jiangsu KDTECH Automotive Fabric Group Co., Ltd. was established, and a supporting industrial chain from spinning to finishing was created.

In 2007, Jiangsu KDTECH Automotive Fabric Group Co., Ltd. was established.

In 2010, KDTECH was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, stock code: 002516.

In 2013, we entered the sustainable industries including renewable and clean energy, mainly engaged in investment and operation of photovoltaic power stations.

In 2015, KDTECH was renamed KDTECH Group Co., Ltd. and successfully developed ecological synthetic leather and microfiber suede interior materials, with diversified products.

In 2020, we optimized and adjusted the investment and operation business of photovoltaic power stations, then upgraded and entered the scarce high-end SAW filter field.

The company entered sustainable development fields such as new energy and clean energy, primarily engaging in the investment and operation of photovoltaic power plants, thereby diversifying its business operations.
